The Respro Sportsta mask combines Hepa-Type filtration
performance associated with sub-micron pollutants such
as pollen and other irritant dusts, with a lightweight
Neotex aerated mask. The Sportsta mask offers
maximum ventilation without sacrificing filtration and to
maximize rider performance, state of the art Powa valves
are a standard feature and a must for all who ride to their
limits. The Sportsta mask conforms to European
Standard EN149FFP1(S) for solid aerosol particles and is
usable in all outdoor sports pursuits requiring respiratory
protection.

a hypo-allergenic layer preventing any
irritation to the face as a result of the
accumulation of particulate material and
has a wicking effect to ensure that the
surface remains dry.

Sportsta Valve Pack
In order to have good breathability in a mask especially when
undergoing exercise or other activities involving physical exertion,
it is essential that the mask breathes freely and does not create
either a pressure drop or back pressure within the mask. Heat,
carbon dioxide and water vapour, three components of exhaled
breath, need to be exhausted from the mask in readiness for the
next breath of inhaled air. If this process of evacuation fails or is
impeded, then the mask may become uncomfortable with poor
airflow and may result in the wearer not using the mask.
We therefore believe that exhalation valves are an essential
component which allows the mask to perform well under the
conditions described above.

allowing the user to tailor a product specifically to their own
needs.
